During the recent oil leak in the gulf many people are canceling their vacations to gulf coasts in a lot of the states. I know the beach is a huge draw to why people come to the gulf coast but some of the cities and their festivals are what make it worth wild. If you have already planned your vacation to a gulf coast city don’t cancel your vacation to that city. Why you might ask? Well this is a time to negotiate your stay with your hotel and not only that these cities are going to fight for your business, so you will get deals like never before. The key is not to cancel your vacation it is to make the most of it and getting more than your money’s worth. Make sure you look up local events and attractions before you go and try to negotiate prices to these event and attractions. As I said before these business are going to fight for your money. So go on your vacation and have fun, even hire a local photographer to take pictures of you at landmarks around that area. There is more stuff to do in the gulf coast then going to the beach.
