Having a young child I know that spending time with your child is important. But it’s sad to say in this tough system of things some parents don’t get a chance to spend any time with their children as they struggle just to make it. Those of us that can spend time, really need to spend time with our children and tell them how much they mean to us. The seeds we plant today will sprout later and we will not know which of these seeds will mature. We need to show our children how to get around tough times and how to care for themselves. Most importantly we need to show them compassion for others. I know some people support welfare and some do not. But giving people the means to get by is the most important thing anyone can do for someone else. Now this does not mean you should always give or just give to the first person or charity your see. No. Do your research and find something you can do to help even if it’s just advice. I know that each of us probably know some who is struggling; so what prevents us from helping?
